Used extensively in the partitioning and suspended ceiling industry for fixing plasterboard to metal studs.

Black phosphate is a decorative finish providing limited protection against corrosion. The phosphate creates an extra layer binding between plaster and screw. Black phosphate will withstand 48hr salt spray test. Black phosphate is not suitable for use with water based fillers.
